They told me it is big, but I didnt think it will be so big. Now I know Sziget is the best festival in this part of world. It s not only big names from all the world and all the scenes in the line up and the enormous mass of people visiting it. It s the positive feeling of the people, the really good organization 24/24 of something that is more like a city than a festival. It s the lots of stages, each having its own feeling and personality, making the visitor think he found just what he wanted in that moment.
We had even better time than the others. Presenting SKIS and the Slovenian student organization in collaboration with Keret organization at the Civil Sziget was also an occasion to get to know some local and international people, have fun with and exchange some ideas, so we really enjoyed the experience and we ll try to get back there the next year.

Ciao Hungarian people or should I say the world »SZGIGEEEEET!«. The last one….oh, I think I have heard it for thousand times during my stay in Budapest. Yes, this year I was lucky. It was just a really big coincidence that I come to visit your beautiful country… Keret, the organization who is working also on our better future, invited mine organization to come to Sziget to present how student’s organizations are working in my country. Trust me; we have a unique system, especially about financing. I accepted the invitation with enthusiasm.
It was the first time for me to visit such a big festival, even more; I was never on a concert with more than 4000 people. So, you can imagine what a shock with crowds everywhere? Anyway, after few hours from my arrival, the Keret people made me feel like home. I was little concerned about how to make our presentation interesting and how to attract people. I was quite surprised when I saw people coming to our tent, sit down and listened. I was impressed. Working with the Keret organization was a pleasure for me. We had fun, we discovered some new things about our countries and the world, and we made some new contacts which in future will help us to work better for you, Sziget people!
I could write more and more about your festival and Keret… I will say just this: “See you on Sziget!” And thank you again.
